Hellsguard, Heaven Sent
ABOUT
"The softest hearts always have the toughest shields."
Demise is a loner who doesn't let her past define her as much as it has molded her. She is rather quiet and can be a tad standoffish, but she is loyal and genuinely friendly. She doesn't take compliments well but prefers her results to speak for her prowess at any and everything. She isn't quick to trust or let anyone in, but is fierce in her beliefs. Though her internal and external scars are many and deep, she still enjoys the looks of the stars at night and the belief that there's hope for everyone, if given the chance.
Her dearest companion is a pup she ran into in the cold, ice caves, who never left her side, that she happily calls “Snow”.
Together, they traverse Eorzea to find out whatever there is to learn.
STORY"Don't let yesterday take up too much of today."
Being a Hellsguard Roegdayn came with many costs before Demise knew what words were. Being the firstborn in her family to inherit an often unseen trait, she was set to follow a different path.
The day her horns were found, her parents knew she had a different road ahead of her. There was a tale that told of her future. She knew nothing of it, only that the ancient tomes the elders kept spoke of such. Something to do with aether from the voidsent they guarded from pooling in their blood, and hers had manifested. Her horns, whether a curse or a blessing, were to be a major part of her growing up.
She was taught many things, as most roegdayn are. Survival and strength are key components of her resilience, and her accolades speak for themselves.
She excelled at many things. Her survival and journey would depend on it. Not just learning about different subjects from being a proud gunsblade wielder to the art of healing magicks. It would all come into her favor at some point, whether she knew how or not.
Until then, she keeps few things with her. Her lotions with her home ash in them, her pouch of ash from home for her nose, and her precious Snow, whom she protects like her very own heart.

SNOW
"I had decided to traverse to some ice areas to see how they differed from the volcanic regions I grew up in, and to see what more there was to find in those ice-capped mountains.I found him in a cavern during my journey. Full of life but on the verge of starving. He could barely stand or even bark, but his eyes were full of light and hope.
So, I fed him a bit of food I had with me from a recent hunt. He was reluctant at first, but eventually he realized I meant no harm. We spent three nights in that cavern together. Watching over one another as we slept. I hunted, made fire, and gave him his space; he was welcomed nonetheless.
When I went to leave the cave, he stayed by my side. Still lame, so weak- but...he persisted. He was insistent on being with me. Eventually, he gained his strength back and has followed me, of his own free will, ever since.Ever since then, I have simply called him 'Snow'."
